Education Works Alliance

What it is

Education Works Alliance is a broad-based community partnership dedicated to building “prosperity through training, education and lifelong learning,” to quote the group’s vision statement.

Education Works is committed to carrying out actions that will raise the education, literacy and skill levels of adults in Brantford, Brant, Six Nations, New Credit, Haldimand and Norfolk in order to broaden opportunities for employment.

The group’s mandate also includes laying a foundation to build economic development opportunities and building a culture that values education and learning as a pathway to prosperity.

The Alliance was started and is facilitated by the Workforce Planning Board of Grand Erie, after the community identified a need for a regional education strategy.
